Career

Infinito 2017 is a very active Underground Hip hop artist from the south side of Chicago with over 120 releases under different pseudonym. Infinito began creating music at 13 years old with cousin Dariel, and the two exhausted hours in their basements recording crude beats and rhymes on boom box recorders. He moved to Kentucky with his mother in the early 90s and Lovelace found comfort in hip hop. This outlet was therapeutic after learning f his cousin Dariel's unfortunate death in 1994. Following that event, Lovelace was forced into a move to Tennessee and that’s where he collected his first analog 4 track and began recording. He was accepted at the Memphis College of Art, where he took painting as a major, he also started performing on a regular basis at Fantasia hip-hop open mic nights. At this club is where he would meet Mr. Skurge the two joined forces instantaneously and decided to work together, calling themselves the Unorthodox Poets Society later on Skurge told Lovelace he should call him self Infinito because of his seamless flow. By 1998, the MC moved back to Chicago, where he joined up with crews the Molemen and the Nacrobats, working on albums with them as well as releasing constant albums on his self made label Nephew of Frank, which is a shortened version of his families last name Franklin. Later on Infinito would change his name to Infinito 2017 as sign of growth and his prolific work ethic in Underground Hip Hop. By now its 2006 and Infinito has released over 45 albums and done multiple shows and appearances with artist such as KRS-One, De la Sou, All Natural, Big Ass Truck, The Verb, Juice, Psalm One, Awol One, iCON The Mic King, Bahamidia, Rhymefest, The Streets, Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, Mr. Dibbs and Thaione Davis. In 2011 Infinto will release his 60th (not including the pseudonym releases) or more albums under the name Infinito 2017 that will be called “Pause Record Not For Sensitive Ears” to pay homage to the time when he wasn’t able to record and desired it so badly he used to record on two boom box radios.
